We want you to have a unique experience.
What is Occupational Therapy?
As an Occupational Therapist (OT), we help people engage in their daily activities, the fancy word we use to describe activities are occupations. Occupations basically make up everything you do, but here are some examples: Sleeping, bathing, showering, dressing, eating/feeding, grooming, taking care of chores/pets, money management, work skills, and social/play skills. Nearly all ages, diagnosed, and undiagnosed people can benefit from OT services.
What occupational therapy services do you provide?
CANOE® provides both insurance-based and private pay outpatient occupational therapy services 2m-26yrs of age (adults over 26yrs welcome on a case by case basis). In-person options available for the state of Colorado. Therapy offered in the individual’s home (virtual) & community based locations. Remote options available for the states of Colorado and Michigan.
What aquatic services do you provide?
Outpatient Occupational Therapy
Currently, CANOE® offers outpatient Occupational therapy services to those with disabilities. We work with ALL people with disabilities 2mo-26yrs. We do take adults older than 26yrs of age on a case by case basis. If our services aren’t a good fit, we will do our best to refer you to an appropriate provider. We want to help the community and make healthcare accessible, not just turn a profit.
Aquatic Therapy
CANOE® also provides aquatic therapy options for clients that are looking for sensory regulation, gross/fine motor skill development, balance, coordination, cognitive skill building, and more!
Dual Services
In some cases, aquatic outpatient OT can be combined with Red Cross Learn to Swim to make swimming available to many different populations of people. Do you qualify for a combined service? - Join our waitlist and find out!
